The Field, a publication based in the UK, does a roundup of six best bourbons and American ryes. Nice to get a mention in the London market!
"...in Purcellville, Becky and Scott Harris's Catoctin Creek Distillery – housed in an old Buick car showroom – is producing astoundingly fine ryes and bourbons (sic*) that draw folk from miles around.
Becky and I are excited to announce a new investment opportunity. Catoctin Creek is seeking private investment to expand the distillery. After over sixteen years of consistent growth, we are excited to be launching some new business initiatives to take us into the next sixteen years, including at least one new high-traffic expansion location, several new national products, and more!
Details are covered by a Non-Disclosure Agreement, and only serious investors will be considered. Minimim investment is $25,000.
Please inquire directly here, and I will send you the required forms via Docusign. After that, you'll receive a copy of the Private Placement Memorandum document describing the opportunities and risks of this private investement, plus the Executive Summary of the business plan, the operating agreement, and all other relevant company documentation.
We look forward to sharing more about this great opportunity!
American Whiskey featured an article called "Barbecue is for Lovers" calling out the nice barbecue/whiskey pairings of the recent winners of Virginia's First Landing Cup competition. Sailor Guevara, writing for the magazine, describes how well your local spirits pair with our unofficial state cuisine: barbecue! Happily enough, Catoctin Creek gets a shout-ou.
For those who love to bring the heat
to the party, Virginia’s beloved Catoctin
Creek Distilling Company’s Hot Honey Rye
whiskey also took home a gold medal. The
Catoctin Creek team infused their potstilled
100 per cent rye whiskey with three types of
local Virginia honey (wildflower, clover, and
buckwheat) and an infusion of chile peppers.
The resulting flavors are delicious and pair
well with Vest’s Pepper Vinegar sauce, which
is composed of hot peppers soaked in apple
cider vinegar based on one of Virginia’s
oldest sauce traditions.
